How we check provider information
We use independent registries, provider websites, and other public pages for different purposes. Clear labels help you see what we checked independently and what you should ask the provider to confirm.
Provider services and qualifications can change. Confirm the details that matter to you before booking.
Three kinds of information
Qualification checked independently
The qualification appears in an independent registry or credentialing program. We show the source and the date we checked it. If the source no longer supports the qualification, we stop presenting it as independently checked.
Current insurance certificate reviewed
This label appears only when we have reviewed a current certificate for the named provider. The date describes the document we reviewed, not an opinion about the provider or a guarantee that coverage applies to a particular service.
Twelve years of post-operative rehab experience
Self-reported by the provider
Mentioned by the provider
Information marked self-reported came from the provider or the provider's own website. We have not independently confirmed that statement.
What confirmation does not mean
Checking one qualification does not confirm every statement on a provider page. It also does not show that a provider is the right fit for your dog.
- We do not inspect facilities, observe appointments, or evaluate treatment outcomes.
- We do not perform background checks or review every complaint or disciplinary record.
- We do not rate, endorse, or recommend providers.
- Ordinary directory order is never for sale. Any paid placement appears separately and is clearly labeled.
- Nothing in the directory replaces advice from your veterinarian.
Before you choose care
Ask the provider which qualifications apply to the service you are considering, whether current insurance covers that work, how they coordinate with your veterinarian, and what happens if your dog has difficulty during a session. Confirm important details directly before booking.
