What we confirm on a listing
Every claim on this site is a receipt, not a judgement. When a listing shows a credential, it means we saw that specific document and confirmed it with the body that issued it, on the date shown. Nothing more is implied.
We confirm documents only. We do not conduct background checks, inspect facilities, or evaluate quality of care. Confirming a document is not a recommendation.
How to read a listing
The document, the issuer, and the date we confirmed it. If a credential expires or the issuer cannot confirm it, the chip is removed from the listing.
A certificate of liability insurance naming the practitioner is on file with us, with the expiry date shown. When it lapses, the chip is removed.

What we require, by service type
Requirements scale with how much risk a service carries for the dog.
- Clinical, license confirmed with the issuing board
- A current California veterinary licence, or supervision by a licensed veterinarian named on the listing.
- Rehabilitation, certification plus insurance certificate
- A rehabilitation certification from a recognised issuing body (CCRP, CCRT, CVA and similar), plus liability insurance on file.
- Daytime custody, insurance and city permit where required
- Liability insurance on file, since the dog is in the practitioner's care away from the owner.
- Advisory, credential confirmation only
- A stated qualification. Advisory listings hold no custody of the dog, so insurance is optional.
What we do not do
- We do not rate, rank, score, or recommend practitioners.
- We do not inspect premises, observe sessions, or review clinical outcomes.
- We do not check references, complaints, or disciplinary history.
- Position in a list is never for sale. Paid placements appear only in slots labelled Sponsored spotlight.
- Nothing here is veterinary advice. Your veterinarian decides your dog's care plan.
Before you book
Ask for the practitioner's current certification and insurance directly, ask how they coordinate with your veterinarian, and ask what happens if your dog reacts badly during a session. A confirmed document tells you a qualification exists, it cannot tell you whether this practitioner is the right fit for your dog.
