I am Eugene. I grew up in Orange County, live in Los Angeles, and have been part of a dog-owning family for as long as I can remember. California Dog Care began with one very good boy named Quas.
The reason behind the directory
Meet Quas
Quas is my 11-year-old Chihuahua mix. I have been raising him since he was three months old. He is friendly, curious, and happiest when he is close to his people.
As he got older, stomach issues meant taking a closer look at his diet. More recently, joint problems introduced a new set of questions. What kind of care does he need? Which providers work with that issue? What should I ask before making an appointment? Finding clear, local answers was harder than it should have been.
California Dog Care grew from that experience. It is the resource I wanted when I was trying to understand the options in front of us.
